1. The service

OwnFit is a nutrition and weight tracking app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Not medical advice

OwnFit is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. All figures — including AI photo estimates, calorie budgets, and projections — are approximations provided for informational purposes for healthy adults. They are not a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice. Consult a healthcare professional before starting a weight-loss plan, especially if you are pregnant or nursing, have any medical condition, or have a history of disordered eating. If a number in the app ever conflicts with your doctor's advice, follow your doctor.

3. Estimates

Nutrition values produced by AI photo or text analysis are estimates and can be wrong — portion sizes, cooking oil, and mixed dishes are inherently hard to judge. You can and should adjust anything before logging it. We make no guarantee of accuracy.

4. Your account

You must be 18 or older. Keep your credentials to yourself; you're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account — and all of your data — at any time from You → Account in the app.

5. Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, reverse engineer, or misuse the app or its AI features, and no submitting unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Pricing

OwnFit is currently free. If paid plans launch, prices and terms will be shown clearly before you pay, and these terms will be updated.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, OwnFit and its makers are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including decisions made based on its estimates.

8. Changes, law & contact
